LUNAR REVERIE: A POET’S PILGRIMAGE
I do not sing to the moon
because she merely shines
I sing to her because she knows
of my long journey
Atahualpa Yupanqui
They sang to you
and in every song, they betrayed you
they did not understand that you shone for them
not for yourself.
Dazzled by the sun
without finding my way
I had to plunge into darkness
to find your light
your rays frolicking on the back of a dolphin.
My soul found love under your light
loneliness vanished along with the last ray of sunshine
and you
my eternal companion
you accompanied me on this
my last wandering
safeguarding the solitary verse
the last drop of blood from the wounded poet.
Some will say,
without looking into the depths of the soul,
they betrayed you again,
while you
singing
drift away riding on the back of a dolphin
to disappear into a feeling,
eternal punishment to your beauty.

Solar Eclipse
Anticipating mystical light,
A covering for the day
Few moments of dimming,
And dark skies.
Alignments prevail.
The sun, the moon, the earth
Are magically harmonious.
Looking up, looking up
We gather mysteries of a sun,
Alive with brightness
Disappearing for only
Moments
An astronomers’ dream.

LA BELLEZZA NELLA LUNA
Luna,
nella mia cara città
sei sovrana rotondità
di bellezza,
che scivola sui fianchi
torna ai tuoi piedi bianchi
ricomincia e sale,
accarezza le tue braccia opale
i tuoi capelli avvolgenti
il tuo volto lacunoso,
dona gemme latenti
e il buio non si fa pauroso.
Oh Luna limone,
nell’argenteo bagliore
sui rami e nelle fontane
favole pagane,
ogni guizzo
una scintilla del tuo pizzo
elegante ascendente
antico sguardo avvenente,
anticonformista
sei della notte l’artista.

lovers of the night
the isaac bird is screaming again
that means it's midnight
and the lady moon in the sky
in its usual place
her face is bright with lots of make-up
she's smiling too flirtatious
ı don't know what this joy is
and as usual ı'm turning around in bed
ın the name of humanity
ı'm a quarter away from going mad
suicide sketches murder sketches
under my pillow
suddenly the isaac bird screamed
with the most flirtatious voice
ı look at the lady moon and laugh.
as if ı understood her joy

Sweet Moon
Oh Sweet Moon
You paint in blue
on the Night Desk
Letters of Peace
as sweet as Love
of the rays of the day
that you keep at the very top
On the side of your dunes
above the clouds,
To write in the shelter
our Dreams that fly away
Far from a wild land
or our Bruised Hearts
would drive us crazy
If you weren't there
every night
to give us Hope
of a warm and sweet morning
adorned with a sparkle
that would reflect in our eyes
Our Journey to the Heavens

UMORIO SE MESEC
.
Umorio se mesec
Od dugog lutanja plavim svodom,
Od teških uzdaha noćih ptica,
Zna on dobro da nisam sa tobom
Da još tražim tvoj osmeh
u mnoštvu lica...
Umorile su se zvezde od traganja
Od šumorenja talasa
I potmulog zvuka,
.
THE MOON GOT TIRED
.
The moon got tired,
From the long wanderings through the blue vault,
From the heavy sighs of the nocturnal birds,
It knows well I am not with you,
Still looking for your smile...
...in the multitude of faces.
The stars are tired of searching,
From the sound of the waves,
And the low sound,
The trees got tired of whispering,
Wind-borne,
And yet,
Every word is like a message.
The paths are tired of the footsteps,
Mercilessly being walked on,
The patch of grass hiding in the darkness,
Not letting the dream ovewhelm it...
.
I got tired of many questions,
To which the heart seeks answers,
Awaiting a new dawn,
As thoughts struggle with uncertainty.
Where are you...?
Whose windows are you observing...?

MY ECSTATIC MOON
Out at passionate night
The moon is so radiant
Gazing during lovely night
Looking at beautiful sight
Alone in light the stars delight
Without any light of its own
The moon brightly shines .
Adoring her glimmering circle
The sky appeared so purple
I wish to bloom in your arms
Your beauty is your elegance
From afar, the moon is intense
Ohhh Moon , we love you so
Aspire you would never go .
